This building is an at-home work space for the owner who was renting space elsewhere for her work, while also teaching at the Glassell Junior School of Fine Art here in Houston. The design of the building exterior is meant to be sympathetic to an earlier addition done to the main house, (also by Z-K Building Design, Inc.) which utilizes similar materials and detailing.
